All Praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, our Cherisher and Sustainer. Durood and Salaams be upon the most perfect and unique of creation, our Leader, our Master, Muhammad Mustafa Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
The picture above contains a Verse of the Holy Qur’an wherein Allah Ta’ala states, “He bestows wisdom upon whom He wills and whoever has been given wisdom, has certainly been given much good.” [Surah 2, Verse 269] By use of the word “wisdom” in this Verse is meant religious knowledge. From this Verse we learn two things: Firstly charity of knowledge is superior to charity of wealth as the former is recurring charity (Sadqa-e-Jaariya) ,the reward of which will accrue to the giver till the Day of Judgment. Secondly religious knowledge is not just obtained from books but from the Grace of Allah Ta’ala. Just by reading the Holy Qur’an and Hadith one is not likely to find guidance, if the Grace of Almighty Allah is not a part thereof. [Tafseer Noorul Irfaan]
This Verse aptly reflects on the life and work of Qutb-e-Mauritius Hazrat Allamah Maulana Muhammad Ibrahim Khushtar Siddiqui Qadri Razvi (Rahmatullah Alaih), who is one of those who was blessed with such wisdom from Almighty Allah and he sacrificed his life to spread knowledge and the true teachings of Islam in the form of Maslak-e-A’la Hazrat, throughout the world, and the message of love, which is the essence of Islam. May Allah Ta’ala grant us the Taufeeq to follow in his footsteps and his teachings In sha Allah.
